The last 2-3 weeks I have been getting really into healthy eating and trying to lose a bit of weight. This meant I have been eating a lot of salads for my dinner and if your like me, as soon as you mention the word salad, you instantly think your not going to enjoy your lunch or dinner because salad isn’t that lovely burger you wanted, or those chips drenched in salt and vinegar. It doesn’t have to be that way though, I’ve actually been enjoying my salads and although I’ve had a few barbecues, as long as I eat well in the week, I still managed to loose 1lbs. It all counts right?
Egg Salad
- 1 hard boiled egg
- lettuce
- bacon bits
- croutons
Chicken Ceaser Salad
- 1 piece of crispy chicken
- lettuce
- Bacon bits
- Parmesan cheese
Bbq Chicken SaladÂ
- Mozzarella
- Spinach
- Chicken fillet
- Maggies bbq seasoning sachet
Potato Salad
- Little bit of cheese
- Baby potatoes
- Cucumber
- Celery
Next week I’m going to be trying out something called Juice Plus. I’m really sceptical about things like this but I’m going to give it a go and fingers crossed it will work, but I shall be updating you about this in a few weeks time.
