In the world of skincare, hydration is key, and the Drunk Elephant F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Masque promises to deliver just that. This is a hydrating overnight mask designed to help refresh the skin and moisturise. The benefits of using this mask is it promotes a dewy, plumper looking finish. There are vitamin F-infused beads for extra emollience, a 4-electrolyte blend, and ceramides for moisturisation. It also contains marula oil for conditioning benefits. One of the many great things about this mask is that it’s suitable for all skin types but especially those who have dry skin, which is something I’m struggling with at the moment. The cream mask is meant to help refresh dry skin with its nourishing ingredients and has been described as like a glass of water for the skin. Something which my skin needs. The product is vegan, and for the 50ml, it is priced at £48. So if you’re interested in finding out more about the product and why I recommend it read on, as this mask should be in everyone’s skincare collection.
The Drunk Elephant F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial mask is a hydrating and replenishing treatment designed to quench thirsty skin. Infused with a unique blend of electrolytes, this mask helps restore moisture balance and enhance the skin’s natural barrier. Its lightweight, gel-like texture absorbs quickly, delivering intense hydration without leaving a greasy residue. It doesn’t feel like you’ve got any product on, and it’s not sticky. Key ingredients include sodium PCA, which attracts moisture, and a blend of amino acids that support skin health. Ideal for all skin types, this mask can be used as a quick 20-minute treatment or left on overnight for an intensive boost. A little bit really does go a long way as personally due to the thickness in texture, I only use a few pumps, and that covers my whole face. I prefer to apply before bed as like I said, my skin is quite dry at the moment, and I wake up now with my skin looking more radiant and refreshed, plus my skin has improved with regards to it being dry.
My first initial impressions on the Drunk Elephant F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Masque is the packaging is very cute, and I really love their logo with the elephant made out of little curved lines. The texture, although thick it doesn’t feel gloopy on the face, and the cream has no scent either, like other products where the smell is rancid. You can’t tell nor feel that you have put any product on your face. I apply the mask as previously mentioned just before bed. I make sure that I have thoroughly washed all make up off my skin so my skin is as clean as it can be and then apply 2 pumps of the cream on making sure that all areas of my face are covered. I apply the mask a couple of times a week, as that’s what seems to work for my skin at the moment, and I just directly apply with my fingers, working it into the skin well to make sure it’s absorbed. In the morning, my skin feels so soft, plump, and nourished. It really does make your skin feel amazing.
In the long term, I have noticed a major improvement to my skin. In areas like my nose, which was especially dry, I noticed major improvements with the skin no longer flakey and also my skin looks so lovely with no makeup. It is also worth mentioning that I have quite sensitive skin, and the cream doesn’t cause any redness or irritate it at all. This is the first product I have tried from Drunk Elephant, and I am very impressed. I will definitely be looking at other products in their range and trying some out. This mask in particular, though I would definitely recommend, even if you don’t have dry skin, this will just make it feel so soft. If you are a bit sceptical and don’t want to pay the full price, then they do do a 15ml size for £17. I do think you will end up paying for the full sized product, though, as it is that good. This is one of the very few products where it does exactly what it advertises. There really isn’t anything I can fault. I will definitely be repurchasing!
I’m not alone when it comes to how I feel about this mask, either. If one review isn’t enough for you, online, you can find plenty, and overall, it’s rated pretty much 5 stars. The only negative reviews I’ve seen has been to do with the pump, but in all honesty, I’ve not had that issue, it’s just one of those where you have to push it down a few times for it to start working. The general opinion of the Drunk Elephant F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Masque is the common theme of how refreshing and revitalizing the mask feels upon application. Those with dry skin, in particular, have said they appreciate the intense moisture it provides and, as I’ve said myself, how the skin feels plump and dewy after use. Those with oily skin have advised that they find the mask hydrating. However, they prefer to use it sparingly to avoid feeling overly moisturized. So these are the overall thoughts and feelings that people have left. Like I said, if you’re unsure, there is a 15ml option you can purchase to try.
The Drunk Elephant F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Masque stands out as a transformative addition to any skincare routine. Its unique blend of hydrating ingredients not only replenishes moisture but also revitalizes the skin, leaving it plump and radiant. Whether you’re battling dryness or simply looking to enhance your glow, this mask delivers impressive results that are hard to ignore. With consistent use, you can expect to see a noticeable difference in your skin’s texture and overall appearance. Purchasing this product could be a game-changer for anyone seeking a refreshing boost to their skincare regimen.
