If you saw my day trip to lincoln post, you would of seen that I saw the film Kingsman the Saturday just gone. There are some really good films out and coming out this year and it’s only February!
I didn’t realise that this was a book before a film, but if you’ve read the book then this is what the film is based on. A secret agent called Harry is unable to prevent the death of one of his agents. Feeling guilty he gives the agent’s widow and her son a bravery medal. He said to them that if they ever need help, they should call the phone number on the back of the medal and say a coded message. 17 years later the widow’s son, Eggsy, gets into trouble and rings the number on the back of the medal. Harry then meets him, and introduces him to the world of the secret agency that he and eggy’s late father worked for. Henry then puts Eggsy in to the agency’s ultra competitive training programme, just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.
I love this film. Apart from American Sniper, this is one of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. It’s so comical but serious. It’s such a laugh out loud film. The storyline is good and easy to follow. Samuel L Jackson plays a good villain. The action is as equally good as the comedy. Very entertaining. What’s not to like?
What I didn’t like.. there wasnt really anything that stood out to me. I suppose if your someone who doesn’t like violence then you might not like this film. It’s not a serious violence though, you can just see things, that you think, well that was computerised. Your probably thinking what is she going on about? I don’t want to spoil the film for you.
Who has managed to get a seat to see 50 Shades Of Grey this weekend and who’s not bothered and doesn’t get what all the hype is about?
