Now if you haven’t heard this news then I don’t know where you’ve been hiding but David Cameron won! I’m so glad they did, as for the past 5 years he has in fairness done a good job running our country and turning it financially better than what it was before in Labours hands. Some of you may know what he plans on doing in the next 5 years but for those who don’t, I’m going to tell you.
– Provide a 7 day a week access to your GP
– Ensure there is a good primary school place for every child
– Lift the cap on university fees
– Create 3million new apprenticeships
– Taking anyone earning less than £12,500 out of income tax altogether
– Build 200,000 new starter homes 20% below the market price
– Raise the 40p income tax to £50,000
– Get more and faster trains, more roads and more cycle routes
– Help Buisnessess create 2 million new jobs
– Cut income tax for 30 million people
– Enhance our border security and strengthen the enforcement of immigration rules
– Lead the world into fighting cancer and finding a cure for dementia
– Keeping our major national museums and gallery’s free to enter
– Gurantee your child a place on the national citizen service
– Save your money by cutting government waste
– Build more homes that people can afford
– Invest in cleaner air and water
– Help you insulate your home
– Toughen sentencing and reform the prison system
– Tackle all forms of extremism
– Ensure Britain has a strong economy so we can continue to protect the NHS, and make sure no one is forced to sell their home to pay for care
– Continue to build a Northern Ireland where politics works
– Give us a say as to whether we should stay or leave the EU by the end of 2017
– Maintain our world class armed forces
They are the main ones but there is a lot more on their to do list. I think they have good intentions, whether they all happen I don’t know, however our country has come quite a long way from 5 years ago, so we’ll just have to wait and see and for those who didn’t really understand what conservatives were all about, I hope this makes it clearer.
What do you think?
