We haven’t had the best of weather here in the Uk this summer but that didn’t stop me making collages of outfits that I would love to buy every single one of, but sadly can’t. I’ve used six popular stores, these being, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, New Look, Boohoo, River Island and Asos. I loved browsing at all the new clothes and spent hours just looking on the websites, there is so much variety. I’m definitely feeling more of these posts in the future, I love putting outfits together and it means I get to share them with you guys.
Monday- A Catch Up With Friends
River Island Weekend Bag – £60
New Look Block Heel Sandals – £12
Dorothy Perkins Sunglasses – £8
Total = £111
This outfit is a real girly one. I really love the swing dress, as it looks really light to wear, with lots of movement, also very casual but can dress up for the evening easily. The over sized bag is something I really liked with the dress as it brings some browns to the outfit and keeps it casual. Dressed with some cute sunglasses and a necklace, you don’t need much to compliment this outfit, just to keep it simple. Then we had a nice bronzer to make you look slightly more sunkissed if not already, and a pair of comfy wedges and your good to go!
Tuesday – Airport Ready
Total = £133.99
This is one of my favourites out of all 7 days. I love the contrast in colours I’ve picked with this one as they are all baby colours. I really lovely this suitcase, the detail on it is incredible and you can look good going to the airport with this. The playsuit is stunning and I love the flower design detail on the fabric. To not make it so pink, I’ve put in these really pretty duck egg blue earrings and a shoulder bag for when your hands are full, but big enough for all your essentials. I love the snake cuff as its so different and unique and then because travelling you want to be comfy, I’ve found this lovely basic white pumps.
Wednesday – Walk In The Park
Dorothy Perkins Gladiator Sandals – £29
Total = £102.50
A brightly coloured outfit with this one, with a lot of different textures and lengths. This outfit Is all about the shorts, I picked the shorts first as I loved them, and worked everything else around them. I wanted to keep this outfit very light so I put together the yellow cami which is a wardrobe essential, I have about four cami’s in my wardrobe, which make good basics. Then you can throw on this white kimino, that will go with everything, still keeping the outfit light. The chain bralet and rings is just to add something more to the outfit, otherwise it looks quite plain and then I fell in love with these gladiator sandals to add another colour to the mix.
Thursday – Shopping Day
New Look Khaki Shorts – £12.99
Dorothy Perkins Tote Bag – £30
Total = £137.99
All summer I said I would get myself a floppy hat but Iv’e hesitated for a few months now, as I’m not sure if they suit me or not. I actually love them and they are perfect for a day at the beach, as well as a day out. There’s some really lovely pairs of shorts on Asos at the moment, I just couldn’t pick my favourite, but I liked the simplicity of these ones. The white embroided top, which you can’t see in the picture is to separate the dark colours up a bit, to make it not so black. The bag is a must for a shopping day and looks much more expensive than what it is I think. Then there’s the wedged shoes which will make your legs look longer and give you a chance to show them off. Lastly my favourite accessory of the post is these sunflower sunglasses. These are a must! Let’s just take a minute to appreciate them..
Friday – Beach Time
River Island Slogan T-Shirt – £20
Dorothy Perkins Double Strap Sliders – £25
Total = £84
How relaxed is this outfit? Another pair of asos shorts with a daisy print as floral is essential, matched with a daisy t-shirt, It’s almost like this combo was suppose to be matched in the first place. I love these sliders, they will literally go with everything and look super super comfy. I think I’m going to have to invest in a pair of these. I paired this with a good sized striped monochrome bag, perfect to put your sun cream in and a reasonably sized towel, and some essential sunglasses for sunbathing.
Saturday – Saturday Drinks
River Island Zip Back Bralet – £25
New Look Strap Beaded Sandals – £7
Total = £89
Lace is very sexy so when I saw this black cropped lace top I immediately had to pick it as a Saturday night evening outfit piece. I love how its cropped but the lace kind of extends the top a bit and not make you feel so bare. To keep in theme with the lace I paired the top with another pair of shorts from Asos! These also have white lace around the bottom. I’ve kept this outfit very monochrome, and found this gorgeous black and silver bracelet, to give you a bit of arm candy. You can then throw on this kimino for when the evening starts to gets cold and slip on these sandals for the beer garden weather, and who can go wrong with red lips on a more dressed up occasion.
Sunday – Lunch Date
New Look Beaded Charm Bracelets – £6.99
Topshop Cateye Sunglasses – £16
Dorothy Perkins Cross Over Sandals – £29
Asos Duffle Cross Body Bag – £20
Total = £96.99
Although I’m not a fan of bodycon dresses I really liked the colour and detail of this one. The navy itself is a very bold colour so I’ve matched it with some softer colours… pink again! I’ve realized there is a lot of pink in this post. I love this baby pink bag which I am temped to buy because its perfect for a day out and I like the unique shape of it. I also love these heels which also have a nice height, not one that would kill your feet after only a few hours. The hat is something that really caught my eye, especially with the sunglasses on too, perfect for shading your face. I hadn’t forgotten, a really pretty bracelet with lots of different beautiful colours put together. There is so much good jewellery out at the moment and lots of variety.
