The Sunshine Blogger Award

The questions I got given.

Why did you start blogging?

Blogging was something that I had been thinking about but never had the confidence to do. I had a week off work and was looking after a friends house, and just all of sudden plucked up the courage to do it. Another reason was because I needed a hobby, as when my boyfriend works late shifts, there’s a lot of time when I’m on my own. I’m not one to go and take part in a hobby and meet new people on my own, don’t get me wrong I like meeting new people, but I’m a bag of nerves to start off with. I’m honestly so glad I did start, because I enjoy it so much and it’s something so different.

Who is your biggest supporter/fan?

There’s 2, my mum and my boyfriend. My mum has always been so supportive of me all through my life, she’s been there through my exams, my dance competitions, dance shows, university auditions, everything you could think of she’s always supported me. Same goes for my boyfriend, since I’ve met him, he’s always been supportive of all the choices I make, which is nice to have from both of them and I’m really thankful for that.

What does a day in your life look like?

I shall talk about a normal average Mon-Thurs day. So I would normally wake up around 6am-7am and get ready for work. At work I run 2 machines, making badges to be over locked. I also make security armbands that you see on bouncers and events, on your nights out. I also make encapsulated badges, that you find on the back of hi vis clothing. Busy busy. Then when I come home I have dinner and do an hour on the Wii. I then have a bath and watch T.V whilst blogging for the next day. That’s about it really!

What would you not be able to live without?

I would not be able to live without my family and my boyfriend. My Ipod, as music is everything to me and pizza! Mhmm..

What makes you happy?

Making and seeing others happy, dancing, and shopping.

Do you believe in fate? If not, what do you believe in?

I believe that everything happens for a reason, whether that’s something bad that happens, or something good. If it’s bad, then its probably to teach us something, or makes us stronger. If its being turned down for a job, then there’s probably something better around the corner. I’ve believed this for a very long time and when I’ve had a bad day, this helps me.

If you could live in any country, where would it be?

Probably America, it just looks like such a interesting place, with lots to do, and lovely beaches.

What’s your favourite clothes brand?

Higher market your probably all going to know what I’m about to say, and that’s Ted Baker, and that’s for their unique prints and classiness. Lower market, I’d say River Island, I can always find something I like in store, when I go in there and they provide good quality clothing, that will last you a long time.

What’s your favourite book?

A really good book I read on my kindle was called Silence, by Natasha Preston. It’s a book of many different twist and turns, and takes you through all different kinds of emoticons. I also liked The Devil Wears Prada 2 and  another book I read but I can’t remember the name, so that’s probably no good to you. I love books though, I love how you can get totally lost in imagination.

What’s your biggest achievement to date?

Probably dancing at the Lincoln Olympic Torch Ceremony. Other than that, where I am now, a stable job, I’ve just been given a pay rise, I have a house and car I share with my boyfriend, a good relationship and a family I love to pieces.

Lastly, how are you today?

Today is a day where, I was struggling to see the positives, and just seeing one negative, but after talking it out, I’m feeling okay, and happy to be home.
