I never use to use powder over the top of foundation, however this past year, it’s something thats warmed to me and I like how it sets your makeup. Yes, I know it’s an extra step, which adds a few more minutes but it’s worth it, when your makeup lasts longer. I decided to give L’Oréal a go, a company in which I haven’t really tried out before. It does come with a little sponge, but I prefer to use a powder brush. I used my Bourjois brush to buff the powder over my face. I did have to keep going back to add more on the brush, but I loved the overall finish. It had created a really nice natural look and made my face look matte. I’ve tried more and more matte products and I must say I really like the outcome. If a matte powder is what your after, than this is very well suited. It covered any redness that I had and didn’t make my skin look over powdered or caked in. I got this in sand beige, which I think is the lightest shade you can get and I think it’s very close to the colour I am, as my foundation is in Ivory. However some people prefer to use this instead of foundation. I’ve defiantly been converted to this L’Oréal powder, it’s one that I now will use, in replacement of the normal one I use.
What is your go to powder?

My go to powder is the MAC careblend powder! Might have to try this one out as well 🙂
