(River Island Navy Checked Shirt – £28)
Who doesn’t love an oversized shirt? It’s a must have statement wardrobe piece, for a chilled out casual look.
I love an oversized shirt and when I saw this one in River Island, I couldn’t resist. I love how you can wear them all year round, whether you want it done up or left undone with a cute top or crop top, underneath. It’s so comfortable and there’s no restricted arm movement. The material is really lovely and soft and those so many different ways you can wear this. I love the splash of yellow colour within it, this way it doesn’t make it look so dark. I can see myself getting a lot of use out of it, in the upcoming months, and would look great over the top of a good pair of jeggings.
P.S Thank you for your lovely words on my last post, it’s not something I’d usually post, but I wanted to do something different and out of my comfort zone.

I am currently OBSSESSED with checked shirts! I have 2 currently but my collection is fast growing! I love that you can now get checked shirt dressess too. What a great idea! I bought one recently from H&M and it was only £20 which is good for the high street nowadays! I would defintley recommend them 🙂

I am! I’ve not see any checked dresses but I’ve just had a look on the H&M website and they are so nice! I may have to purchase one! 🙂

It really is! Yeah! She’s got her own clothing range with IntheStyle, which is a bit like Bohoo.com i think? I looked the other day again and there was a sale on so I picked up the checked shirt dress! It’s a cross between tartan and checked pattern I would say. Some of it is very expensive!
