I recently went to Legoland in Windsor and took my 8 year old sister, who really enjoyed herself. The theme park is dedicated to children ages 2 – 12 years old. Inside the theme park you will find, many rides, building workshops and live shows. If it’s a sunny day, don’t forget to take your swimming stuff as there’s a big water park!
I’m so glad we had buy 1 get 1 free vouchers as it’s really pricey to get in, and it isn’t much cheaper for a child ticket! I think the prices could be doing with being lowered slightly, but I would recommend booking online anyways as it’s cheaper, and you save over £10 per ticket, which is definitely worth it.
The rides were about a half hour queue minimum wait. That’s to be expected though when your going to a popular place like this. The rides are rather young but well suited for their target audience. The themes for the rides are really good and fun too. My sister particularly enjoyed driving a lego car and getting her lego driving licence. I really wanted a go!
The lego mini village was my favourite part of the whole day. It makes you appreciate the time and effort they have put into making parts of different country’s. I think this is more for the adults. I just wanted to take loads of pictures of it all. I would of loved to of sat their making it all.
We ate at the city park pizza and pasta family buffet. The food was out of this world! After I think it was 5pm, kids ate free, it was reasonably priced for an adult and well worth the money. I’ve never ate so much pizza! They had vegetarian ones, ham and pineapple, meat feast to spaghetti bolognese and salad. It was really tasty and definitely recommend it to pizza lovers.
Overall this was a good day out. We didn’t have time to do everything, could of done with an extra half a day. Mostly a positive experience, just the pricing that let’s it down a bit. I rate it 4/5.
