It has been a week since I’ve seen this now, however I have been a bit busy to write a review, so I’ve finally made some time for what everyone is talking about and I’m sure most of you have seen it now. I am probably one of the last to do this but here is my review on 50 Shades Of Grey.
For those who haven’t read the books, 50 Shades Of Grey is about a young girl called Anastasia who interviews Mr Grey, a man who is successful, brilliant, beautiful and intimidating. Innocent Ana realises she really wants this man and is desperate to come close to him. He wants her too but on his own complicated terms. Falling more for him than she wanted too, Ana agrees to be under Mr Greys control. Trying to dig into his past though, she explores some dark desires of her own.
What I liked about the film was how it wasn’t jus sex scenes all the time, as that for me would of been boring. I liked how they concentrated on the story. Jamie and Dakota played the roles excellently, I couldn’t fault them. To start of with I must admit I wasn’t sure about the actor they chose for Mr Grey but watching the film made a lot of sense, as he fitted the role perfectly. They portrayed the emoticon to the audience really well and for those who have read the first book, it ends exactly like that and your left wanting more. Yes they may of left things out but those aren’t important enough to put in the film.
I can’t say there was a lot that I didn’t like in the film. The only thing that was a tiny bit annoying was there is quite a lot of advertising from Apple, LG and Audi. Now Apple is quite an obvious one to pick up on, however I can imagine a lot of women won’t pick up on the Audi one as there isn’t a lot of women who know a lot of car makes. If you don’t know an Audi car when you see one, you won’t notice when watching this film. This isn’t a big issue though.
I can’t wait for this to come out on dvd on June 22nd. I am also very excited that there is going to be films based on the books 2 and 3. Now to too it off we just need a book number 4 to come out. It does make you want to read the books all over again.
What did you think of the film?
My Film Rating: 10/10
A x
I might give it a chance thanks huni
