I’m not very good when it comes to lip liner, which is why if I wanted to experiment with it, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. What I like about lip liners are how they make your lipstick stand out. I love how we have all these different products that make our favourite features stand out. The important thing about lip liner, is to not apply a too lighter colour to a dark lipstick, or apply a too darker lip liner to a lighter lipstick, as it doesn’t look natural as well as look right. There are seven colours to choose from ranging from light to dark and I am honestly impressed with the quality and range of colours stocked. My favourite is probably “Black Tulip” but I couldn’t tell you a least favourite, as I like them all. Tiramisu is a nice shade to go with if you are wanting that perfect nude lip.
The Rimmel Lasting finish lip liners go on really nicely, its not messy and for £2.99 each I was expecting the tips to break, but no its a really strong liner. It glides on nice and smoothly and you can really draw a good outline on your lips. It’s suppose to last up to 8 hours and I honestly think it does, no smudging, bleeding, it just does not budge at all, which is pleasant surprise. For the price, you get every pennies worth plus more, I am really impressed with the lip liners and I should really wear them more. Whats really good about things like this, is how small the product is. You can easily pack your makeup up bag with a few different colours and it would hardly take any space up. If you find that your lip liner needs topping up, you can also take one of these with you and fit it into a small clutch, for when your on an evening out.
What are your go to lip liners?
P.S Did you like me trying to draw lips haha? My lips are really dry at the moment due to the weather changing a lot, so the pictures weren’t even worth putting up, with me trying these on. Sorry!
