(Nars Laguna Bronzing Powder £28)
I had a bit of a Narsmare when I first tried this on (thank you, I’m here all night!) because I actually thought I was allergic. I had a Feelunique delivery of loads of new products and wanted to try them all on, and the next thing I know my face turned into a beetroot, or a lobster and it was hard to pinpoint what the product I was allergic to was. Anyways I don’t know why I’m telling you this because I’m not allergic to the Nars bronzer and it turned out to be a product from L’oreal, although I can’t quite remember it as I chucked it. So I thought you just wanted to know my makeup disaster, we all have them!
Moving on, I always get distracted when writing blog posts… A lot of people wear Nars now and its a makeup brand that has grown to be as big as MAC. Some people grudge paying the price, so I’ve done that bit for you if you haven’t tried the product already, to save your pennies or if you should really take the plunge. Let me just say this first, it is worth the price. It is by far the best bronzer I have ever brought and I was sick of trying cheaper brands on my face and looking like I had just wiped my brush in cocoa powder. I sweep this over my cheeks, forehead, nose and a little bit on the chin, and it gives you a natural looking glow. Even though I have quite pale skin, it doesn’t make me look fake, or really brown, if you get what I mean. To build this up, just apply a few more sweeps. So far this has lasted me 4 months and there’s still quite a bit of product left. I’m quite impressed at how matte it is on the skin, so if your not really into matte, then perhaps this powder in particular, isn’t for you. I love the luxurious packaging and the mirror inside is so handy, for those evenings out, or if your travelling. I’m really impressed with this product, and its perfect for both day and night. I will definitely be purchasing this again, and right now if you spend more than £40 on Nars at Feelunique, you will receive a free gift.
