New Film Releases For February And March

Here is my list for must see films for February and March, get your diaries at the ready!

February

Rings – February 3rd

In the next chapter of The Ring set 13 years later after the first chapter, Julia is worried about her boyfriend when she finds out he has 7 days left to live before he is killed, after watching the dark, urban, legend of the mysterious video tape. In a desperate plea to save her boyfriend, she sacrifices herself, making a horrifying discovery, where this next chapter takes an unexpected turn. There is a movie within a movie, that no one has seen before.

John Wick: Chapter 2 – February 10th

Following the success of the first John Wick, back in 2014, John Wick is back with chapter 2! It will be taking place 4 days after the first film, which is why in the trailer you will see the hotel concierge Charon, say to John “how good to see you again so soon.” John Wick is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of an international assassin’s guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him,  John Wick travels to Rome, where he squares off against some of the worlds deadliest killers. Oh and did I mention he is back with a new dog.

Fifty Shades Darker – February 10th

Christian is back wounded, trying to entice Ana Steele back into his life. The only way she will go back though, is under a set of new rules made by her. Just as Ana begins to build her relationship and trust with Christian, a few figures from Christian’s past show up, which could destroy their hopes for a future together. Not to mention Ana’s new boss takes an interest in her. Can Christian contain his jealousy?  Can their complicated relationship really work?

The Lego Batman Movie – February  10th

The Batman Movie will be the next focus of the Lego Movie, with Bruce Wayne not only dealing with the criminals Of Gotham City, but also the responsibility of raising a boy he accidently adopted, who later becomes Batman’s sidekick, Robin. Batman has to try and save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover. To do this though he might have to do something he’s not use to, and that’s working with others. He might even just lighten up a bit.

 A Cure For Wellness – February 17th

A Cure For Wellness is a horror which an employee is sent to rescue his boss from a European wellness spa in the Swiss Alps. He soon realises though that he is actually trapped, and discovers that the spa, has more of a sinister purpose, than just serving the health needs of its patients. He ends up diagnosed with the same affliction that has trapped some of the other guests there. Will he be able to save his boss and manage to escape?

Before I fall – March 3rd

February the 12th was just a normal day in Samantha’s life until it becomes her last. She becomes stuck in reliving her last day over and over for a week, trying to untangle the mystery around her death and discovering everything she’s in danger of loosing. In a desperate struggle, Samantha tries in an attempt to save her fate, by taking different actions each day, becoming less snobby with her wealthy friends, and trying to make things right with those she’s been mean too. Will she come to terms and accept her death.

 The Wall – March 10th

The Wall follows two soldiers pinned down by an Iraqi sniper, with nothing but a wall between them. Their fight becomes as much a battle of will and wits as it is of lethally accurate marksmanship. Only left with a radio to communicate with the sniper, no food and drink in the middle of a dessert, a crumbling wall, and knowing they are being watched with every move they make, will they both come out of it alive? Will they think of a stratgedy to beat the sniper?

Beauty And The Beast – March 17th

In a magical remake of Beauty And The Beast, follows Belle on an extraordinary journey, with much loved songs from the original. A bright, young, beautiful woman, is taken prisoner in a castle by a beast. Despite being held prisoner, she looks beyond the beast’s front and finds the kind heart from within, and makes a lot of new friends on the way. However, will a handsome, shallow, Gaston get in the way, by trying to get Belle and maybe even go as far as trying to kill the beast?

The Belko Experiment – March 17th

In a twisted social experiment, 80 employees who work for the company the Belko Corporation, are horrified when they are suddenly locked in an office building and ordered by an unknown voice, over the company’s intercom system, to kill each other, or face death themselves. Staff are put on the spot whether to all stand up against the order and not participate, or to look after themselves and kill some of their co-workers, and take part in this deadly game.
